PRIA Grant for the Acquisition of an Overhead Hoist (Telfer)

Objective: To improve workplace safety and increase operational efficiency by simplifying the handling of heavy sheet metal and the collection of finished laser-cut components.

The project “Sparker OÜ Supply Security Investments 2” is funded by the European Union through the NextGenerationEU Recovery and Resilience Facility.

The project is designed to strengthen the company’s supply security by reducing its dependence on fossil fuels. To achieve this objective, Sparker is investing in battery energy storage systems. As a result of the project, fossil fuel consumption and electricity drawn from the grid will be reduced, while the company’s energy resilience and supply security will be improved.

Resource Efficiency Project 2 – Information Notice

As part of its Resource Efficiency Project, PlasmaPro OÜ is investing in a new fibre laser cutting machine. The new equipment will improve raw material utilisation while increasing production capacity. The fibre laser system will replace less efficient plasma cutting machines.

Project Objective and Expected Outcome:

The objective of the project is to achieve at least a 2% improvement in resource efficiency and increase overall resource productivity. To achieve this goal, PlasmaPro OÜ is investing in an innovative fibre laser cutting system that improves material efficiency and enhances the productivity of the manufacturing process.

As a result of the project:

  • An innovative fibre laser cutting machine will be acquired.
  • The new laser cutting system will improve resource efficiency and enable significantly faster and more economical production compared to the existing plasma cutting machines.

The project “PlasmaPro OÜ Supply Security Investments” has received funding from the European Union’s NextGenerationEU Recovery and Resilience Facility.

The project is designed to strengthen the company’s supply security by reducing its dependence on fossil fuels and supporting the transition to renewable energy sources.

To achieve these objectives, Sparker is investing in a solar power plant to partially cover its electricity demand, introducing electric forklifts to support the electrification of its operations, and installing battery energy storage systems to store electricity generated on-site.

Project funding: €190,000.

EAS Green Audit Roadmap Grant

The objective of PlasmaPro’s Green Audit was to assess the company’s current sustainability practices at both the organisational and business model levels, while identifying opportunities and capabilities for future sustainable development.

EAS Digital Transformation Grant

Implementation of the LANTEK manufacturing software to streamline production processes and improve operational efficiency.

The project provides reliable real-time data and key performance indicators (KPIs), enabling more informed decision-making and better business management.

The expected outcome is a 15–20% improvement in the efficiency of sales, procurement, and inventory management processes by centralising information, providing real-time access to relevant stakeholders, and improving overall process organisation.

Project funding: €34,105.

This project is funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU Recovery and Resilience Facility.

ERDF Resource Efficiency Investment

As part of this project, Sparker invested in a higher-capacity fibre laser cutting system with automated material handling. The new equipment increases production capacity, improves material utilisation, and reduces metal consumption per unit of output.

The system incorporates advanced automation for raw material loading, enabling greater efficiency, higher productivity, and more sustainable manufacturing.

Project funding: €200,000.

PRIA Grant for the Construction of a Solar Power Plant

The project aims to make our company more environmentally friendly and reduce our dependence on externally supplied electricity.

EAS Digitalisation Grant

The project aims to create an integrated solution for the company’s complete digital transformation through process and organisational innovation.

With support from PRIA, we invested in a deburring machine.

The new equipment enables us to add greater value to our products and serve new customer segments where the highest quality standards are essential.

EAS supports the implementation of a digital diagnostics assessment at PlasmaPro OÜ.

The objective of the digital diagnostics assessment is to increase the company’s awareness of digitalisation and automation opportunities, identify areas for development and improvement, and establish an action plan for their implementation.

With support from PRIA, we invested in robotic welding technology.
